DQM x Vans ‘Square Ones’
Made exclusively for DQM, the shoes are inspired by the utility and economy of a basic, what it means for a product to be useful, to be essential or classic.
A true ‘basic’ is designed with simplicity, utility and economy in mind; a basic is something that works. Considering what the aesthetic and functional qualities of a manufactured product would be if you only had one of it, DQM has pared back Vans’ Sk8-Hi, Old Skool and Authentic styles to the very essentials. Built to be worn daily, the shoes are constructed in a light-weight cotton ripstop fabric that won’t tear, in a wear with anything white. They feature tracer cord laces that won’t break, a flexible and washable light-weight Ortholite insole, and deconstructed styling including stitched side stripes.
